1. The submitted research must fall within the evaluator\'s specialization, and this must be verified before commencing the evaluation process.

2. The evaluation period should not exceed (10) days from the date of receipt of the research.

3. The importance of the research must be demonstrated by its potential to represent a new and qualitative scientific contribution to the field of specialization.

4. The extent to which the research title matches its content must be assessed.

5. The nature of the research must be clarified, specifically whether it contains a novel idea.

6. Inform the editor-in-chief if the research contains a high percentage of plagiarism from previous studies.

7. Maintain confidentiality during the evaluation process.

8. Ensure the intellectual integrity of the research.

9. Identify aspects that require modification or change.

10. Require the researcher to make substantial revisions.

11. Determine whether the research is suitable for publication with revisions, without revisions, or rejected.

12. Note any observations within the research paper or on a separate sheet of paper.

13. Indicate the extent to which the researcher used recent sources.

14. Clarify whether the research language is sound and meets the linguistic standards of a good researcher.

15. State any revisions the researcher is required to make.

16. State the reasons for rejecting the research.

17. Complete the evaluation form accurately and objectively.

Terms and Conditions for Publication in the Maysan Research Journal

1. The Maysan Research Journal publishes rigorous scientific research related to various fields of human and scientific knowledge that has not been published in any other journal.

2. The journal\'s publication language is Arabic or English. For scientific research papers, an abstract in a language other than the original text is required.

3. Research submitted for publication is subject to scientific evaluation by specialized reviewers before publication, as it is sent to three scientific reviewers whose scientific rank is no less than assistant professor.

4. The research submitted for publication must meet the recognized scientific research requirements, each according to its specialization, for humanities research. As for scientific research, the following sequence must be observed: Summary, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Sources.

5. For scientific research, sources are mentioned in the research by following the numbering method according to the priority of mentioning the source, and sources are mentioned as follows: Name of researcher(s), year (the year of publication is mentioned in parentheses), title of research, name of journal (in the commonly used abbreviation), volume, issue, number of the beginning and end pages of the research.

6. Initially, the research paper should be submitted as a computer-printed copy in four copies.

7. After the research paper has been reviewed by the examiners and accepted for publication, a corrected copy and another copy on a CD should be sent.

8. All tables, graphs, and maps should be printed on separate sheets of paper, one table per page, numbered, and each page should have a concise title that reflects its content. It is preferable to scan any images included in the research.

9. Each page of the research paper should be numbered at the bottom.

10. The journal is not obligated to return research papers that are not accepted for publication.

11. All research papers should be printed on one side of the paper only, and the paper size should be A4.

12. The research papers written and published in the journal express the views of their respective authors.

13. All research papers should be sent to the editorial secretary at the journal\'s address listed therein.

14. The research papers published in the journal express the opinions of their authors.

15. The researcher bears responsibility for the scientific ideas he has arrived at or discussed.

1. The journal is committed to sending the research paper to experts in the relevant field.

2. The journal\'s management will follow up on the research and require reviewers to respond as quickly as possible.

3. The journal must grant acceptance for publication after the paper is returned from the reviewers.

4. The journal will provide the researcher with two original hard copies of the acceptance letter.

5. The researcher will be informed of any required revisions.

6. The names of the research reviewers will be kept confidential.

7. The researcher is provided with a paper copy of the research extracted from the journal, bound with the official journal cover and stamped after the research is published.

8. The journal is committed to publishing accepted research electronically on its official website, which is part of the Iraqi Academic Journals website affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

9. Research papers are subject to electronic plagiarism detection software (Turnintin).

10. The journal\'s management reserves the right to reject research papers that do not meet the journal\'s standards and scientific rigor.

11. Two different research papers by the same researcher may not be published in the same issue, whether the papers are authored individually or in collaboration with other researchers.

12. The journal\'s editorial board takes into account the diversity of research submissions to maintain a balance in the journal\'s specialization.

13. The ranking of research papers is subject to scientific, technical, and specialized considerations.
